Bunny Hopping Into Your Week

Adorable huh?

Coffee is something I treat myself to only once or twice a week as it has a tendency to make my heart race a little. I think I might be one of those people that has enough natural pep without it, but when made well, I do love the taste. My local barista makes me a lovely coffee, but bless him, it ain’t as cute as this bunny inspired one. Wonder if I should take this picture in to him and make a request?! Treating yourself to a coffee once or twice a week sounds like a nice little indulgence. It’s great that you enjoy the taste, even if it does make your heart race a bit. Perhaps showing your barista the bunny-inspired coffee picture could add some fun to your coffee routine. Who knows, you might end up with a cute and delicious creation!

It is the day after a Monday public holiday here in Australia with many people going back to work after a long break. It can often be a little hard to get motivated and ‘back in the swing’ after a mini break as just when you were feeling rested…it’s time to go back. As the sun rises on the day after a long weekend, offices come to life once again with the shuffle of feet and hum of conversations. The post-holiday lethargy lingers in the air, a reminder of the restful days that have just passed. Yet, as desks are occupied and computers boot up, there is a quiet determination to shake off the sluggishness and dive back into work. With steaming cups of coffee in hand and to-do lists at the ready, the workforce gears up to conquer the day ahead, knowing that productivity awaits those who push past the initial resistance.

Focusing on all the great things that you have on this week can really help instead of thinking about what has just been left behind.  For me, I am joining two girlfriends in the city on Wednesday night for a gossipy catch up, some tapas and wine and Friday I’m having dinner with two other girlfriends who share birthdays close together.  Now that’s certainly something to look forward to!

What’s on your radar this week that you are looking forward to with a smile? Do you have something on that you are excited about? Please share! This week, I’m looking forward to diving into a new writing project that has been on my mind for a while. The idea of creating something fresh and engaging always puts a smile on my face. Can’t wait to see where the words take me! What about you? What’s bringing excitement to your week ahead?
