This mask is great for hydrating all skin types. Yogurt makes a good base for sensitive skin and can help purify and smooth skin. Oats absorb and remove surface dirt and impurities, deep cleanse your pores, and gently exfoliate to help treat many skin conditions from dry, itchy skin to oily skin and blemishes. Honey helps to hydrate skin (and makes the recipe good enough to eat!)
1 c natural yogurt with cultures
1/2 c oatmeal
2 Tbsp honey
Tip: For oily skin, replace honey with 3-4 drops of lemon juice.
Grind oats to a fine powder using coffee grinder of food processor. Stir together with yogurt and honey,. Using your fingers, rub onto face, being careful to avoid your eyes. Lie down and relax for 10-15 minutes before removing with warm water and a washcloth.
Tone and finish your home treatment with a cucumber wash made by blending 1 cucumber and 2 cups of water in a blender.
